How can I book a tour?

a) Online Tour Booking:
If you like any of our online tours; simply go ahead & fill in our booking form linked to that itinerary. We will get back to you with an answer within 24 hours 
 
b) Tailor-made requests
If you have any plan & need to discuss it, any travel dates  which might not match our online offered tours, or even a dream of a specific trip, please send us an email on info@travellinktour.com
or fill in our tailor-made booking form: https://travellinktour.com/tailor-made; one of our expert team will get back to you within  24 hours maximum and most of the time earlier than this.
 
Bookings are subject to availability except for the set departures (guaranteed); For last minute bookings; although we will do our best to fulfill your request; we might have to find alternative
hotels, cruises, upgrade sleeper train to flight tickets, all depending on availability.To process booking we will send you a form to complete, it requires all imperative information needed to start -
securing spaces for your reservation. 

Quotations & Offers


In case you chose a tailor-made itinerary (other than the published & priced programs on our website); you will receive a full detailed offer including the following info:

  • Arrival & Departure dates
  • Total days / nights
  • Name of your program & highlights of your tour
  • Clear details about your meal plan
  • Price in U$D or in EURO as per your country of origin
  • Prices are per person/per package unless stated otherwise  
  • Inclusions & Exclusions
  • Domestic flight timings if included
  • Suggested hotels/cruises; category classification
  • The validity of the quotation
(you might receive a special offer; sometimes it might expire within 1 week or 2 weeks, we notify you with this in order to enable you to get the best price).

Offer Acceptance, proceeding with booking:

In order to proceed with your booking, we need a written acceptance from your side; we then send you a travel booking form to fill in & send it back, a clear scanned copy of your passport (s). Next Step;  we will proceed with your booking. 

Payment methods, Payment conditions

Upon receiving your travel booking form; we ask for a 50% deposit; when we receive the deposit we proceed with bookings, the rest should be settled at least 30 days prior to arrival.
We will email you our full confirmation & tour voucher upon final payment settlement.
 
Feel free to choose one of the following techniques:
 
Bank Transfer:
You can transfer the down payment to our bank account, scan the receipt and send it to your travel consultant.
Travel Link Tours is not to be charged for the bank fees.   
 
Online secured system:
An easy way to settle payment where our system generates an automated payment link; we send that link to your email,
you simply go ahead & pay online. There will be 3% credit card surcharge goes directly to the bank. 


 

Domestic flight tickets

In case booked with Travel Link Tours; we will email you an electronic copy of your ticket. In case your booking is still on the waiting list;
we notify you with the best alternatives.
If you handled getting your own domestic tickets; please make sure to discuss timings with your trip consultant;
we have to be pretty sure that flight details match your arranged sightseeing, cruise schedule & departure flight.

In case flight has been canceled or delayed by Egypt Air, it is EgyptAir responsibility to propose an alternative flight; by all means, we will adjust your itinerary.

Last minute booking, inquiries

For requests received 3 days prior to arrival, we might need to offer alternative hotels, cruise as per availability.
We promise to try our outmost to fulfill your request.  Payment should be done in full, we request NO extra charge for late bookings.
For some certain cases; we can approve collecting payment upon arrival
 

Entry visa & Passports

Please check with consult the of the country that you are visiting for entry visa procedures, cost, as for the passport;
required to be valid for not less than six months prior to your arrival date. Visa and health requirements & regulation are subject
to updates without any prior notes. We highly recommend that you verify those arrangements quite a time prior to your departure. 
 

Hotel Accommodation, check in, check out time, meals, special requests

Hotel Accommodation  
Please go through your tour voucher & confirmation letter carefully to check your room type. Most probably; accommodation is based on standard rooms/double
or twin share including private facilities (safety box, bathroom…etc.). For a different room type like an upgrade to Nile View, Pyramids, or Sea View room;
connected doors, that requires extra payment & depends on availability by the time of booking.
For nonsmoking / smoking / upper floor rooms, we consider that as a special request to be forwarded to your chosen hotel/cruise.
Yet; there is no guarantee it will be fulfilled.  
 
Twin / double share room is quite enough to hold either two separate beds (twin) or one large bed (large enough for two adults).
 
For the triple rooms: the vast majority of the hotels in Egypt is based on a double + extra bed, it has nothing to do with room size.
Would like to drag your attention that on board sleeper train there no triple cabins (either single or double). 
When you have an accommodation plan based on triple occupancy; will charge you for double + single cabins only for the sleeper train tickets
(supplement to be added to the top of the rate).

 As for single rooms, good for 1 person, single bed, with an extra charge.
 
Check in / Check Out Times at hotels
In general; check in due time is 02 pm and check-out is 12:00 noontime. For guaranteed early check-in or late check-out; there will be an extra charge as per hotel
policy (that might vary from one hotel to another).
 
In case you will be arriving later than 2 pm, please make sure to inform your travel consultant as to keep your room secured.
 
Meals at hotels:
On most of our offered tours; we create the itinerary based on bed & breakfast (breakfast meal starting next day to your arrival).
Except for some resorts on the coast of Red Sea (included meals are breakfast and dinner most of the time), as well as the Nile Cruise
which offers full board meal plan (Breakfast, lunch & dinner). Speaking of which; if you are allergic to a specific sort of food, nuts; make sure to notify us as to
inform hotels/cruises/sleeper train accordingly.
 
In case the chosen hotel is fully booked, we suggest another of the very same category & facilities. 
 

What do we mean by exclusions?

Mainly any item which is NOT LISTED on the inclusions sheet is EXCLUDED, in order to get it, you will pay extra fees.
For instance: Optional tours, departure taxes, travel insurance, entry visa, personal expenses, extra food & beverages
other than meal plan included on your itinerary, laundry, phone calls, photos, medical expenses, excess baggage fees,
customs duties, shopping, souvenirs, tipping or gratitude, 
 

Amendments by you

Travel Link Tours is so flexible towards amending details of your plan, adjusting traveling dates,
upgrading to higher hotel / cruise category or the contrary. However; those amendments might end up in extra charge that you should pay,
we should & will confirm with you before proceeding.
 

Amendments by Suppliers

It might rarely happen –specially during peak periods that service provided by suppliers (like EgyptAir for the flight tickets, sleeper train owner company, hotels, cruises)
get amended as a last minute change for unpredicted circumstances beyond our control. In that case, we arrange with the suppliers in order to adjust your itinerary
of analogous quality at NO extra cost
 
 

Time free at leisure

On some days of your itinerary, you will find free time at your disposal, those are times that you can spend at your hotel,
have a walking tour, or pick up any or optional tours that match your itinerary, you can simply call your tour guide or travel advisor to get that arranged for you.
 

Tipping & Gratitude

An excluded item, optional and not a must. However; it is recommended due to low wages.
When & if you are satisfied with the provided service you can tip to express being pleased about the service.
It is not a must, no obligation …it is based on your own willing to do so, we can only give you a guideline.

Medical status & Physical Capability

We care about you! that is why we put each tour on a classified category like "Adventure Tours" Honeymooners"…etc.
Please make sure that your travel consultant is aware of any medical problem, accordingly, you will get an advice of the suitable tour.
By the end of the day, it is your accountability to decide whether the tour suits you or not., forr any medicines or medical care that might occur during the trip, expenses are your responsibility.  

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by your side should be forwarded to us in a written email. The following charges will be applied:

  • 45 days before your arrival, 5% of the settled deposit will be charged (bank admission fees).
  • From 40 days to 30 days prior to arrival date, a 25% from your tour price will be charged.
  • 29 days to 15 days prior to tour start date, a 50% of the tour rate will be charged.
  • Two weeks to 7 days' prior arrival date a 75% cancellation will be applied.
  • 7 days to 1 days prior to arrival ends up in 100% cancelation fees
 For the domestic flight tickets, sleeper train tickets; when / if you cancelled your tour, cancellation fees will apply as per the policy of the supplier 

Children Policy

Answering a common question; is a 12 years old traveler is a child ? No 12 years is an adult, pays the full charge.
 
For the day tours' / sightseeing children policy:
Child under 6 years old pays 00 (Free of charge)
Child from 06 & under 12 years old; pays 50% of total tour price per person.
Sightseeing or day tour might include flight ticket, sleeper train ticket or ferry boat, so extra charge might be applied.
 
For the tour package/cruises / hotel bookings' children policy
Infant under 2 years old is totally free of charge
Child of 2 years & under 6 years old pays 25% of total tour price (per person)
Child 6 years & under 12 years old pays 50% of total tour price (per person)
 

Complaints

If it happens that you have any negative comment, complaint, or even a tiny suggestion, Please please Pleaaaaaaaase inform your rep., tour guide immediately & while on tour, feel free to send an email to your travel consultant, we will respond & take a proper action immediately!  Any delay will end up in preventing Travel Link Tours of processing with the right action. 

Force Majeure

Travel Link is not accountable; nor legally responsible, will NOT pay you any reimbursement if our obligations have been affected by any unforeseen circumstances that we are not able to avoid. Hereunder; we will list examples but not limited items of the force majeure cases:   War, threat of war, terrorist activities, civil discord with its consequences or the risk of such activity, riot, Esna lock closure, natural or atomic disasters, fire, chemical or biological disasters, and adversative weather, sea, ice and river conditions, and / or similar occasions. 

 

Refund Policy

Will be processed the same way as payment has been done & through the same account. You will get a notification first for the total due sum before proceeding the refund.

 

Tour Voucher & E-tickets

Within 24 hours of payment settlement; you will receive your tour vouchers; crystalizing included, excluded items, the name of confirmed lodgings, flight or sleeper train info. emergency no. to call, day by day arrangement & travel guide of your destination.

If your domestic/international flight tickets are booked & issued with Travel Link Tours; we will send you an e-ticket, just check your name, flight details, ticket number & destination. 

General terms of usage

a)      For payments through our website (secured online payment) details provided by yourself goes directly to our payment supplier through a highly secured connection. 
b)     We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard in USD, CAD, AUD
c)      Payment is accepted only by the cardholder, it is a must to be one of the travelers, payment link will be addressed to the very same email address that you use during your course of correspondence
d)     Republic Arab of Egypt is our country of dwelling.
e)     Any dispute that might arise out of, or in relevancy to our website shall be governed coordinated with the laws of Republic Arab of Egypt
f)       Youth under 18 are banned from registering as users of our website, also prohibited to transact, book on this website

Signing out of the tour

Leaving your tour: 
If you & on your own accord have chosen to leave the tour, you will be kindly requested to inform us in written; you will receive a "Tour Sign out form".
No offered refunds from our side for the leftover portion.  Travel Link has will have no accountability for banishment or any other expenditures, which may occur due to such an event. 

Accuracy

Travel Link Tours attempts to ensure that all given information & prices on our website, brochure or offline quotations send in personnel to your email upon tailor-made request are accurate. Nevertheless; some amendments might rise accordingly we reserve the right to correct prices; therefore; you have to read / check carefully rates and all other details related to your requested booking prior to booking confirmation.
